Triumph Commences Pre-Bookings for Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X Motorcycles in India

Triumph, the renowned British motorcycle manufacturer, has unveiled its latest offerings, the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X. The company has now begun accepting pre-bookings for both motorcycles in India. Customers interested in joining the Triumph community can now pre-book these motorcycles online or at Triumph dealerships by paying a refundable token amount of Rs 2,000.
Both the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X are equipped with a 398cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 40PS of power and 37.5Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Triumph has subtly tweaked the underpinnings of each model to cater to their distinct personalities.
The official launch of the Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X in India is scheduled for July 5, 2023, at Bajaj’s manufacturing facility in Chakan, near Pune. Deliveries of the motorcycles will commence shortly after the launch, within the same month, through Triumph dealerships managed by Bajaj under their collaborative partnership. Global deliveries of these motorcycles are expected to begin early next year.
Triumph Speed 400 & Scrambler 400X Price In India
The anticipated price for the Speed 400 is around Rs 2.90 lakh, positioning it in competition with motorcycles like the KTM 390 Duke, BMW G 310 R, Honda CB300R, Zontes GK350, and the upcoming next-gen KTM 390 Duke. On the other hand, the Scrambler 400X is expected to be priced at approximately Rs 3.20 lakh, offering competition to motorcycles such as the Yezdi Scrambler, Royal Enfield Scram 411, and the upcoming Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 (all prices are ex-showroom).
