Last night Government of India imposed a ban on the various apps. Among those apps, TikTok is also the one app. After the ban on the TikTok along with the other 59 apps last night, the app was also removed from the Google Play Store. After the removal of the app from the Play Store and other stores, the app was still working for those who had it already installed on their phone. But now the app has completely stopped working. A message on the app and on the website of TikTok is also there.
TikTok Goes Offline
The message on the TikTok website and App says –
On June 29, 2020 the Govt. of India decided to block 59 apps, including TikTok. We are in the process of complying with the Government of India’s directive and also working with the government to better understand the issue and explore a course of action.
Ensuring the privacy and security of all our users in India remains our utmost priority.

This total block of the website is done by the company to comply with the directives of the government. Earlier, Nikhil Gandhi, TikTok India head has said that the company will soon meet the government authorities to discuss this issue.
Along with TikTok, the Indian Government also bans other applications. These apps include ShareIt, UC Browser, Shein, Club Factory, Clash of Kings, Helo, Mi Community, CamScanner, ES File Explorer, VMate, and many more.
