SSC JHT Exam 2019: Last month Staff Selection Commission released the notification for the SSC JHT Exam 2019. On 27th August, the process of filling the application also started. All those candidates who are eligible for the exam can fill the same on the official website. Before filling the exam form, candidates make sure that they fulfill all the necessary educational qualifications. Here are some of the essential details regarding the JHT exam of SSC.

SSC JHT Exam 2019 – Last Date & Application Fee

As per the notification of Staff Selection Commission for the JHT Exam 2019, the last date is 26th September 2019 to fill the form. After this date, the link will be closed. For the online payment, the last date is 28th September and offline is 30th September. The Commission will conduct the examination in the month of November. The exact date as per the notification is 26th November.

Only candidates belonging to the General and OBC category will have to pay the fee. The application fee is Rs 100. Rest all the category candidates and women candidates, there is no application fee. This fee is non-refundable.

Age Limit & Other Important Details

The maximum age limit for SSC JHT Exam is 30 years as on 1st January 2020. However, there is relaxation in age for the reserved category applicants. Age relaxation for the SC/ST category candidates is five years, three years for OBC category, ten years for PWD, 13 years for PWD+OBC and 15 years for PWD+SC/ST. The date of birth recorded in the matriculation certificate or in the secondary examination will be considered.

To fill the form, candidates need to visit the official website of Staff Selection Commission. The official website is https://ssc.nic.in. The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of their performance in the exam. There will be two papers. All those applicants who will clear Paper 1 will appear in Paper 2. Paper 1 is objective while the 2nd Paper will be conventional type.

In the first Paper, there will be a total of 200 questions of 200 marks and time duration will be 2 hours. It is a computer-based test and has questions from General English (100 marks) and General Hindi (100 marks). Paper 2 is descriptive and includes Essay and Translation. The maximum marks of this Paper are 200.
