Sony has unveiled its latest television series, the Bravia XR X90L, in India. The high-end TV range comes with a price tag starting at Rs. 1,39,990. Serving as the successor to the X90K range, which was launched in June 2022, the Bravia XR X90L series boasts full-array Triluminos quantum dot LED display panels. With screen sizes ranging from 55 inches to 75 inches, this premium television series from Sony is highly sought-after. All variants feature an Ultra-HD screen with support for high dynamic range content up to the Dolby Vision format.
Price and Availability of Sony Bravia XR X90L
The Sony Bravia XR X90L series is available in three different variants, each offering a unique size option. The 55-inch XR-55X90L variant is priced at Rs. 1,39,990, while the 65-inch XR-65X90L variant carries a retail price of Rs. 1,79,990. Both of these models are currently available for purchase through Sony’s sales network in India, including Sony Center stores, major electronics stores, and key online retailers. The third variant, the 75-inch XR-75X90L, is yet to be launched and will be made available for purchase at a later date.
Specifications and Features of Sony Bravia XR X90L
As mentioned earlier, the Sony Bravia XR X90L series serves as a direct successor to the X90K series. All three televisions in this series boast Ultra-HD (3840×2160-pixel) full-array LED displays, featuring Sony’s Triluminos quantum-dot technology. These TVs also support Dolby Atmos audio and high dynamic range content up to the Dolby Vision format. Additionally, the televisions offer image enhancement features such as an IMAX Enhanced mode and the Netflix Adaptive Calibrated Mode when used with supported content.
On the software front, the Sony Bravia XR X90L runs on Android TV, featuring the Google TV user interface. This grants users native support for Google Assistant and access to over 10,000 apps via the Google Play Store for Android TV. Being part of the Bravia XR television range, users also gain access to the Bravia Core streaming service, which allows for high-bandwidth streaming of content specifically designed to leverage the capabilities of the TV.
