Reliance Jio 1699 Prepaid Plan Vs BSNL Prepaid Plan 1699 – Which One is Better Long Term Plan

Every telecom operator in India has a long term validity plan in which they are offering free and unlimited calling for a period of 1 year. But there are two plans offers great benefits. These two plans are from the side of BSNL and Jio. BSNL has prepaid plan 1699 and the same plan is there from Jio. But there is still confusion that which plan is worth and why? Well if you put 4G connectivity on one side then BSNL 1699 is very much better then the Jio 1699. Why? Here is the reason.

BSNL 1699 Offers Extra Validity & Data

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited launched the 1699 prepaid plan just after the launch of Jio plan 1699. At that time there was no other plan from any other telecom operator that directly compete with the Jio 1699. Later on, Airtel, Idea, and Vodafone also brought the yearly plan.

Lets leave the calling benefits of Jio & BSNL plan 1699 one side as both the plans offer same calling benefits. In these two plans, there are unlimited calling to anywhere in India. Now moving to the data part, BSNL is ahead in between two because it offers extra data. Normally it offers 2GB data per day while Jio is offering 1.5GB data per day. A 500MB data difference can be easily ignored. But BSNL has a Bumper offer in which it offers extra 2.2GB data per day.

With the BSNL Bumper offer, the 1699 plan of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited offers total 4.2GB data per day. This is more than the double as what Jio is offering. Also, the validity of the plan is also more than Jio. Earlier the plan was offering 365 days validity but now it has been changed to 455 days. So now you decide which one is best.
