Realme collaborated with BYD Electronics to create the distinctive ‘Miracle Glass’ rear panel for the GT 5. The phone boasts a dual-tone back panel design with a prominent camera island. The camera module resembles a visor and is wider than usual, featuring two camera rings on the left. On the right side, you’ll find rectangular LED light strips known as Halo Pro, offering customizable colors. Additionally, a transparent glass window showcases the Snapdragon chipset.
The front of the Realme GT 5 sports a 6.74-inch OLED display with an impressive 1.5K resolution and a high refresh rate of 144Hz. The screen features a centered punch-hole selfie camera. The phone also introduces an independent X7 display chip developed by PixelWords, enhancing the visual experience. The display offers a peak brightness of 1400 nits, 2160 PWM dimming, slim bezels of 1.46mm, and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.7 percent.

Notably, the phone is available in two versions with varying battery capacities and charging speeds. One variant features a larger 5,240mAh battery supporting 150W fast charging, achieving a full charge in just 18 minutes.
The second version houses a 4,600mAh battery but supports an astonishing 240W fast charging, providing a full charge in a mere 9 minutes and 30 seconds, capable of offering 2 hours of talk time. The Realme GT 5 boasts a triple-camera setup on the rear, highlighted by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor with OIS and PDAF. This is complemented by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. On the front, a 16-megapixel camera handles selfies and video calls.

The smartphone is set to be available for purchase starting September 4 in China.
