One Week Lockdown in Haryana Starting 3rd May

Fom May 3rd onwards, Haryana will be under complete lockdown. The lockdown will remain for one week. The information regarding the Haryana Lockdown was first tweeted by health minister Anil Vij. In a tweet, Anil Vij said that that the state will go into complete lockdown for a week amid a sharp spike in coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in the state.

Lockdown in Haryana

The decision of complete lockdown in Haryana for one week is taken after the state records 13,588 cases on 1st May 2021. The total cases of corona in Haryana crosses the 5 Lakh mark on 1st May 2021. Out of these total cases, 3,94,709 has been recovered (as per www.covid19india.org/).

The government of Haryana has placed the state under lockdown for one week to curb the second wave of the pandemic. On 1st May, the state recorded 125 deaths due to corona infection. To recall, on Friday the government imposed the weekend lockdown in nine districts Gurgaon, Faridabad, Panchkula, Sonipat, Rohtak, Karnal, Hisar, Sirsa, and Fatehabad.
