LG K42 is the latest smartphone of the company in India. The new LG smartphone comes with a military-grade MIL-STD-810G certified build and it is touted to passed the nine different categories of the US Military defense standard testing, including high and low temperature, temperature shock, vibration, shock, and humidity among others.
Some of the key highlights of the smartphone include the HD+ display, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, quad-rear camera, and a 4000mAh battery. The new LG smartphone is a budget phone whose price falls under Rs 11000 in India. The phone will compete against the likes of the Redmi, Realme budget smartphones priced under Rs 11000.

The phone is launched in India in a single variant. It comes with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. LG K42’s price in India is Rs 10,990. It will be available for purchase via the Flipkart website. In terms of colors, the phone has two options i.e Grey and Green. LG is offering two years extended warranty on the phone with one-time screen replacement.
Coming to the specifications of the phone, the new LG K42 is a dual sim phone that runs on the Android 10 operating system. There is a 6.62-inches display on the phone with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels. It has a MediaTek Helio P22 processor. In terms of RAM and storage, the phone comes with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
Moving to the camera specifications of the phone, LG K42 has a quad-rear camera at the back. The rear camera of the phone offers 13MP primary sensor, 5MP secondary sensor, 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro shooter. On the front for selfies and video calling, the phone has an 8MP camera.
The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. There is a 4000mAh battery on the phone. The phone also features a 3D sound engine and includes a dedicated Google Assistant button.
