This month Jio started taking charges from the users for making calls to non-Jio numbers. For this users have to buy separate IUC pack that starts from Rs 10. With the IUC packs, Jio gives free calling minutes to non-Jio numbers. If you are recharging your number now, then you will have to buy separate IUC pack. The starter IUC pack gives 124 IUC minutes to non-Jio numbers.
Recently Jio launches four new prepaid plans that come bundled with free IUC minutes. These plans start from Rs 222 and go up to Rs 555. Other two new prepaid plan of Jio with free IUC minutes are Plan 333 and Plan 444. With the launch of the 444 plan, it now clashes with the plan 448 of Jio. Both the plan offers the same benefits, but 444 plan is a good one to choose as it comes with the free IUC minutes.

Calling: In terms of calling, both the plans are similar. There are no changes in the calling. All the local calls, STD calls and roaming calls are free. There are no extra charges on calling to anywhere in India.
IUC Minutes: IUC minutes comes under calling section. In plan 448 of Jio, users will have to recharge separately for the IUC minutes. The pack starts at Rs 10. So if you get IUC pack of Rs 50, then the total costs change to Rs 498. And in the new plan 444 of Jio, the pack offers free IUC minutes. In this pack, users will get 1000 free IUC minutes.
Data Usage & Validity: Moving to the data usage in both packs, there is 2GB daily data usage. Both the plan 444 and 448 offers total 2GB data per day. In terms of the validity of both the plans, there is 84 days validity. In terms of validity, data all the benefits are equal. The only difference is the IUC minutes.
