Shah Rukh Khan’s highly anticipated movie “Jawan” has fans eagerly waiting for its release, and now the advance bookings for the film have opened nationwide in India. On Friday, SRK’s production company, Red Chillies Entertainment, made the announcement through their official social media platforms. In a video message, King Khan himself expressed, “Bahut bekaraar hai sab Jawan se milne ke liye” (Everyone is very eager to meet Jawan), while the video also offered glimpses from the trailer.
Jawan Advance Booking Finally Opens In India
Fans wasted no time in sharing their excitement in the comments section. One fan wrote, “I have just booked my tickets,” while another user expressed, “Love you Shah and can’t wait to meet our Jawan.” A third comment predicted, “World Superstar Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan will be a historical blockbuster.”
Advance bookings for “Jawan” were already open in select multiplexes in Mumbai. Ticket prices range from Rs 250 for morning shows to as high as Rs 1,850 (excluding taxes) for night shows in 2D IMAX theaters.
Furthermore, “Jawan” has been generating significant interest in overseas advance bookings. According to Business Today, the overseas advance booking collections for “Jawan” have reached $200,000 (as of August 28), which is slightly over Rs 1.65 crore. Notably, advance bookings for the SKR starrer were made available at 450 locations. Advance bookings have also begun in countries such as Germany, the United Arab Emirates, and Australia.
Directed and written by Atlee, “Jawan” boasts a star-studded cast, including Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, and Riddhi Dogra in key roles. Additionally, Deepika Padukone will make a special appearance in the film. “Jawan” is presented by Red Chillies Entertainment, directed by Atlee, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The film is set to release worldwide in theaters on September 7th, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
