Jackie Shroff enters in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s

The most awaited movie of the year Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif had one more entry of an actor in the cop drama.  The actor who joined the movie cast is none other than, our own Bollywood Bhidhu Jackie Dada. 

Jackie Shroff enters in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi

Rohit Shetty shared the news on the Instagram on the occasion of Jackie Dada’s 63rd birthday, with a very cool picture of the actor Jackie Shroff and captioned with the caption, “Just when you thought you knew all the characters of Our Cop Universe…Presenting to you The Man Himself…JACKIE SHROFF… And…Surprise Abhi bhi baaki hai mere Dost  @apnabhidu #sooryavanshi. 

Rohit Shetty also said that he has got a bunch of surprises for his fans. Ajay Devgan and Ranveer Singh will also have their special appearance roles in the film. Ajay Devgn will repeat his role as Bajirao (Singham) and Ranveer Singh as Bhalerao (Simmba). The other actors in the movie whose performance the audience will get to see are Gulshan Grover, Sikander Kher, Neena Gupta, and Nikitin Dheer.

On asking about the film, Jackie Shroff said that he had worked with his father Mr. Shetty sahaab whom he respects a lot. ” I have done a lot of work with him and now working with his son Rohit is altogether a unique experience. He is always clear about the story in his head. He knows his job and I loved working with him. It is an experience I will never forget. I can’t disclose my character but its an interesting role. It is a great opportunity to be part of a film like this. It gives me a lot of energy. It has been a great experience and a fantastic feeling working in Sooryavanshi.”

Cop drama Sooryavanshi is jointly produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez, Cape Of Good Films and Dharma Productions whose major shots have been shot in Bangkok, Thailand and Hyderabad. In the movie, Akshay Kumar plays the role of Sooryavanshi, a character that was introduced as an anti-terrorist squad officer in Simmba last year. Fourth instalment of Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe and is all set to hit the theatres on 27 March 2020.
