Ind Vs WI: India Won the 2nd Test Match by 257 Runs, Hanuma Vihari Man of the Match

Hanuma Vihar has been selected as Man of the match as India won the 2nd test match against West Indies. The team India won the match by 257 runs. West Indies only manages to score 210 runs in the 2nd innings resulting to the loss of the 2nd test match. Man of the match Hanuma Vihari also scored fifty in the second innings and a maiden test hundred in the ist innings.

West Indies 2nd Innings Ended at 257

In the second test match, India batted first and scored 416 runs. Mayank Agarwal, Virat Kohli, and Ishant Sharma scored 50+ runs in the first inning while Hanuma Vihari scored 100+ runs. From the side of West Indies, Jason Holder grabbed 5 wickets and Rahkeem Cornwall grabbed 3 wickets.

Chasing the target of 416 runs, West Indies only manages to score 117 runs in the first inning. Bumrah took 6 wickets in the first innings while Mohammed Shami took 2 wickets. In the second innings, India scored 168 runs and declared the innings after 54.4 overs with a fall of 4 wickets. Hanuma Vihari and Ajinkya Rahane scored 50+ runs.

Chasing the target of more than 400 runs, West Indies only manages to score 210 runs. Only one player from the West Indies team scores 50+ runs. Mohammed Shami and Ravindra Jadeja took 3 wickets each while Ishant took 2 wickets and Bumrah 1 wicket.

Kohli Become Successful Indian Captain in Test Matches

In the second test match, India won by 257 runs. Prior to this, In the first match, India won the match by 318 runs. Under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, this was the 28th Test Match win. Now he is the most successful Indian Test Match captain with 28 wins. He breaks the record of Mahendra Singh Dhoni (27 Wins). After the match, Kohli said that without the team it is impossible to win the match. He also praises the bowlers and said that it would not have been possible without the bowlers.
