CTET 2019: Central Board of Secondary Education has started the procedure of filling the online application form for the CTET 2019 exam. CTET 2019 Exam Details
The Central Board of Secondary Education released the notification on 19th August and on the same date the procedure of filling the application form started online. The candidates can now fill the application form. The last date to fill the application form is 18th September. The candidates are advised to fill the application form of Central Teacher Eligibility Test on or before the last date. The last date to pay the application fee online is 29th September. CBSE will conduct the exam on 8th December 2019.
For the general category and the OBC category candidates is Rs 700 for a single paper of CTET 2019. For the SC/ST/PH category candidates the application fee is Rs 350 for a single paper. The application fee for the General and OBC category candidates is Rs 1200 for both papers. For the SC/ST/PH category candidates is Rs 600.
Primary Stage(Class I to V)
Candidates who are Senior Secondary or it’s equivalent with at least 50% or 45% marks/Passed or appearing Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 Norms/B.El.Ed(04 Years Course)/Diploma in education(Special Course ,for 02 Years)/ B.Ed(1 Year)/Diploma in Elementary Education(1 Year) will be eligible for CTET Examination..
Secondary Stage(Class VI to VIII)
Candidates having Bachelor Degree (with at least 45% or 50% marks) /passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/Diploma in Education/B.El.Ed /B.SC.Ed /B.A Ed. /B.Ed. will be eligible for this CTET Examination.
Paper – I (02.5 Hours Duration): Total 150 Marks MCQ Paper divided in 05 Sections of 30 marks & questions (per section Comprising of Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I & II, Mathematics & Environmental Studies topics.
Paper – II (02.5 Hours Duration): Total 150 Marks MCQ Paper divided in 05 Sections of 30 marks & questions (per section Comprising of Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I & II, Mathematics &Social Studies & Social Science Studies topics.
Mode of Selection – Selection will be Based on Entrance Exam (Paper O & Paper II)
