Chandigarh: Free Travel Facility For Policemen In CTU Buses

Starting from September 1, the UT Administration has made a significant decision to extend complimentary travel benefits to Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) buses, both AC and non-AC, for city police personnel up to the rank of Inspector. The eligible employees will enjoy this benefit on both local and long routes.

To avail of this facility, employees from the Police Department will have a deduction of Rs 375 per month from their salaries. The Director of Transport, Pradhuman Singh, stated that the free travel opportunity can be accessed by presenting a valid identification card issued by the appropriate authority.
