The building block of proteins and the important compounds in the body that plays an important and critical role in known or called as Amino Acids. Although it is difficult to understand the importance of Amino acids and to surprise most of us do not even know that our body needs amino acids and they are very important to our body. In our diet, amino acids are the most important. And to your surprise, Amino acids are involved in every process.

In our body, there are 9 amino acids are present. All these are essential amino acids that are important and useful in most of the vital processes. These nine amino acids are – Phenylalanine, Valine, Threonine, Tryptophan, Methionine, Leucine, Isoleucine, Lysine, and Histidine. Below are the use and details of each Amino Acid.

Phenylalanine: This amino acid is responsible for the function and structure of the protein and enzymes. It is also responsible for the production of other amino acids.

Valine: This amino acid helps the body for muscle growth and regeneration. It is also responsible for energy production.

Threonine: It is the main part of the collagen and elastin (structural proteins). These are the important amino acids for the connective and skin tissues. Threonine plays an important role in immune function and metabolism.

Tryptophan: This amino acid is responsible to maintain the proper nitrogen balance. It is associated with causing drowsiness.

Methionine: It is an amino acid that plays an important role in the detoxification and metabolism of the body. This amino acid is important for the growth of the tissue and absorption of zinc and selenium.

Leucine: This amino acid is helpful in regulating blood sugar levels and produces growth hormones.

Isoleucine: This amino system in our body is helpful for the immune function, regulation of energy and hemoglobin production.

Lysine: Lysine Amino Acid plays an important role in our body. For the absorption of calcium from the dietLysine works with Vitamin D. These both are responsible for the calcium absorption. It also helps to support strong teeth and bones. It is also important for the production of energy, immune function, etc.

Histidine: This amino acid in the human body is responsible and vital to the sexual function, digestion, and immune response. It is also used for the production of histamine.
