Aloe vera is also known as Ghritkumari, is considered beneficial for health as well as skin and hair too. It is a medicinal plant mostly used for skin related problems. Hardly there is anyone who will not be unaware of the benefits of aloe vera. Aloe-Vera is rich in amino acids and 12 vitamins. It helps to increase the immunity of the body. Aloe vera is also being used as a beauty treatment in many beauty products because it helps to keep your skin and hair healthy.

The virtues of Ghritkumari are mentioned in the pages of the Rigveda. It is used in many cosmetics. The usefulness and popularity of Aloe vera have increased considerably from the last few years. According to Ayurvedic researchers, in Sanskrit, it is called “Kumari” due to the control of women’s menstrual cycle. Aloe vera plant is the easiest way to get beautiful, spotless and shiny skin.

BENEFITS OF ALOE VERA

Antibacterial & Antioxidant Properties: Aloe vera belongs to the family of polyphenols and has powerful antioxidants. These compounds present in Aloe Vera can inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria.

Helps in Improving Skin Conditions: Aloe Vera helps in reducing itchiness and inflammation. Itis also used as gel and cream.

Beneficial in burns or injuries: Aloe Vera has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Due to these properties, Aloe vera helps in healing wounds fast. After getting injured or small burns, the gel of Aloe Vera can give relief. If there is a burn, apply the Aloe Vera gel immediately after burning does not cause blisters, and the burning sensation ends.

As A Scrub: Take fresh Aloe Vera Gel, two tablespoons of lemon juice and a cup of sugar. Mix all these and then use it on the face and skin. It can be used for the body too. The sugar in the mixture help scrub off the dead skin, lemon helps in cleaning (fade out) the scars and tan and aloe vera gel will clean the skin.

Helps in Lowering Blood Sugar Levels: Studies have shown that Aloe Vera can help in lowering blood sugar levels. Drinking two tablespoons of Aloe-Vera Juice every day and continuously for two weeks will lower the blood sugar in type 2 diabetes.

Aloe Vera For Acne: Aloe Vera is helpful in skin related problems. It can help in curing acne on the surface. For this take some aloe vera gel and mix it with blended walnuts and honey. Use it. It will give a smooth and clear skin.

Good For Gums: Aloe vera is beneficial for gums and mouth. It is because of its natural antibacterial & antimicrobial properties. Aloe Vera is rich in a variety of vitamins and minerals that promote the growth of cells and relieve problems such as bleeding from the gums and ulcers in the mouth. Regularly drinking aloe vera juice makes teeth strong and healthy.
