The Hero Glamour has been relaunched in India, following its discontinuation in 2020 due to stricter BS6 emission norms. The motorcycle is available in two variants: drum and disc, with prices at Rs 82,348 and Rs 86,348 respectively.
Hero Glamour Launched
Sharing the same engine as the higher-spec Glamour XTEC, the bike features a digital dashboard without Bluetooth connectivity. Powering the Hero Glamour is a 124.7cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 10.5hp at 7,500rpm and 10.4Nm of torque at 6,000rpm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Its frame is a simple diamond layout, with a telescopic fork in the front and preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers at the rear.
The Glamour is offered with a choice of a 240mm front disc or a 130mm drum, with the rear featuring a 130mm drum brake. The bike’s weight varies, with the drum brake variant weighing 121.3kg and the disc brake variant weighing 122.5kg.
Despite being a basic 125cc commuter, the Hero Glamour incorporates Hero’s i3s stop/start technology, a fully digital dashboard (lacking Bluetooth connectivity), and a USB charging port. It comes in three colors: Candy Blazing Red, Techno Blue-Black, and Sports Red-Black.
Hero Glamour Competitor
Competing with the Honda Shine 125 (priced at Rs 79,800 to Rs 83,800) and the Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon (priced at Rs 84,013), the Hero Glamour is priced between Rs 82,348 and Rs 86,348.
